@TeamSweetBrown Hi team!!! The Sweet Brown phenomenon is sweeping Australia at the moment. I am a Fire Fighter with 30 yrs service in New South Wales, Australia. I have promised my Station Officer a beer if he can slip "Oh lord Jesus it's a fire" into a radio message at some stage! It hasn't happened yet!
Sweet, can I let you in on a problem that we have in New South Wales at the moment? Our government is hell bent reducing funds to Fire Fighters. One branch of our fire fighting industry has been affected by looming redundancies [up to 120 sackings effectively] and the other branch is suffering on-going Station Closures. That's right Fire Stations are routinely being closed. Let me bring it home to you Sweet.... If your local station had been closed it may have taken the next closest [open] station between 8 to 15 minutes LONGER to arrive and start to put out that fire.... Imagine the consequences then...
Would you be please approachable about a possible youtube statement regarding this dire situation?
I want to reverse the govt decision because I don't want someone to die, just so that the Fire Brigade can save $700.00
